Doing It All as a Woman with Kelley Oswin
On March 18, 2020 Kelley Oswin will share her wisdom for
personal and professional growth as we learn:
- What leads us to take too much on?
- What it means to be “selfish”
- Self-sacrifice vs. Self-sanctify
- How to say no and set boundaries effectively
As women we are “wired” for connection. We want it and we thrive with it. Our leadership is different because of it. That need for connection, however, can drive us into the need for approval and the fear of disapproval and the inability to say no when we really could, or dare I say it “should”. We are the carriers of the “mental load” and we minimize the amount of work that is. It’s time to let go of the myth that in order to have it all we need to do it all.
Kelley Oswin is a Social Worker, mother of two amazing teenagers, and wife to her partner for 25 years. Kelley enjoyed a 19 year career counselling young mothers when she left that career to move into her now thriving private practice in Cookstown Ontario. Kelley often says she left something she loved for something she loved more.
Her journey into private practice began when she engaged in her own “inner work” and discovered new ways of working with people to let go of the past. Now her mission is to support those that help others and to reduce the stigma attached to seeking help.
Kelley’s goal is to ensure that everyone has a soft place to land without judgement, so that they too can live their life to the fullest. Kelley is also a trainer with Avalon Empowerment a personal and professional development training company for visionary entrepreneurs that are mission driven and heart centered seekers looking for more.
